About Vintabits

Free tools for IT professionals, built with privacy first

Vintabits is a free collection of everyday tools for IT professionals, developers, and anyone who works with technology. It was built out of frustration with existing tools that are cluttered, slow, ad-heavy, or require you to create an account just to generate a password.

Everything on Vintabits runs entirely in your browser. No data is ever sent to a server. No accounts. No tracking beyond an anonymous visit count. Just tools that work.

What's available

Vintabits covers five areas:

• Password & Security — password generation, strength checking, breach detection, hashing
• Developer Tools — JWT decoding, regex testing, JSON formatting, cron expressions, timestamp conversion
• Encoding & Conversion — Base64, URL encoding, colour conversion, CSV to JSON, token generation
• Text & Content — lorem ipsum, word counting, case conversion, find & replace, line sorting
• Network & Web — IP lookup, CIDR/subnet calculator, DNS lookup, HTTP status codes, browser info
